"Pistol" Pete Maravich
This past Tuesday, we talked about Pete Maravich and how he eventually, after a long search found satisfaction in Jesus. There are some links below about the way he played, his life and his character. Pete Maravich passed away January 5th 1988.

As hopefully mentioned by your captains, here are the three mp3 clips of an interview of Tony Dungy by Family Life (n). The interview with Tony is very touching and gives a closer look to the kind of person he is. There is also an in depth first person insight on Tony's thoughts and reactions to his son's suicide (audio clip number 3). Feel free to download them to your iPod or favorite listening device and listen them as you go to work or school. To download the mp3 files, right click the link and click save as.

Since there are three clips, if you are short on time, listen to the third one for sure. It is time well spent.

Tuesday February 10th 7:00pm: Friendship League Opening Night
Hey all! Welcome to the CEBC Friendship League 2009. This is just a reminder that this Tuesday February 10th at 7:00pm we will meet in the cafeteria for a little something to eat (this is not a full fledged dinner but will hold your hunger at bay), you will meet your team, league t-shirts will be passed out and some info about the league will reach your ear drums (hopefully). After all that there will be a chance to play some basketball in your teams so you can get a feel of things before the official games start next week.

Where is the cafeteria I hear you scream? Right when you enter the building, make an immediate right through the double doors and you will see us.

Lastly, just want to give a cyber shout out of thanks to Colman and Ethan for designing and getting the league t-shirts together.

Deadline: 01/27/09
A friendly reminder that the deadline to turn in your forms and fee for this year's friendship league is January 27th 2009.

Hey all! It's been a while since this site has been updated but there is good news! Jesus loves you! Ummhmmm. But wait, theres more. We are having our second annual 3v3 BBQ Bball tourny.
