CEBC Friendship League 2007 has ended

Once Again, No Basketball this Tuesday
The gym floor is being waxed, so there will be no basketball this Tuesday the 12th of June. The gym will be opened again on the 19th of June.

Hello to all you out there who catch this. There will be no basketball this coming Tuesday the 5th of June. Please pass this message on to your friends.

Last updates.....sorta
Hey guys! Just want to thank everyone for participating in the league and being so open about sharing your thoughts / views about Jesus. We are hoping that we have sparked some questions and thoughts about the gift of life that is offered to all of us. Feel free to email us by visiting the contact page.

The final running stats and league leaders have been posted. Ryboy's last recap has also arrived!

We will continue to run on Tuesdays starting at 7:30pm. This is open for everyone in the league and we encourage you to invite your friends. However, please note that this is a Church, so as a friendly reminder, please respect the place and the people. For those who have not run on Tuesday nights before other than in the league, we basically have a sign up for games. You sign up, play, then sign up again. Even though the friendship league is over, we hope to keep the friendship part and thus encourage you to sign up to play with different people instead of forming a dream team with your friends.

Lastly, keep checking back to this site for announcements and updates. We will use this site to let everyone know if for some reason we cannot open the gym for a particular week.

An uplethera of updates.
Yes I know uplethera is not a word. The stats page has been updated with both Tuesdays' game and as an extra bonus we threw in the running stats thus far too! You also can't miss B's freshest recap, along with the updated standings page and the all too cool league leaders board.

Easter Musical titled Believe
It is a FREE multi-media musical presentation presented by the CEBC church choir. All you guys really need to know is that Greg and Oz are in it. Just kidding, its not about us at all, its about the celebration of Jesus' resurrection. Perfect, we talked about Jesus' resurrection this week! It will be on Friday April 6th, 2007 at 7:30pm and April 7th, 2007 at 1:00pm. Both celebrations will at at 801 Silver Ave which is only 3 blocks from where we play ball. Updated Schedule and April 10th Dinner
Please take time to look at the updated schedule. The extra week has been inserted and your captains will notify you via email of that weeks game times.

The dinner will take place on April 10th at 7:00 PM. More details about the location will be posted as the time nears. Please reserve that Tuesday to come hang out and eat with everyone.

Stats Update and Week 1 Recap
As some of you might have noticed this morning while checking your stats of the match up between red and blue which was game 2 of this past Tuesday night, the total points was incorrect. The winner of game 2 was the red team and the proper adjustments have been made.

League Information
This is a reminder that for 7:00 and 8:00 games it is expected that you attend the team sharing/lesson time which will last about 30 minutes after your games at 8:00 and 9:00 respectively. If your game is at 9:00, please show up 30 minutes in advance at 8:30 so we can meet before hand.

One more note, the first 5 players to show up will be the ones starting for their team.
