Game 1

Red 51 Gray 48

Neil Wong had another solid game with 18 points and 10 rebounds along with the nicest job of cutting his shirt sleeves off. Maybe next year he can do it for the rest of us since some of us didnt do as straight a job. Daniel continues to be the strongest rebounder under 5'7" but it wasn't enough to stop Greg Wong as he scored at will with 16 points. While the game became close towards the end the Red team sank the needed free throws to seal the deal. Red Team is the only undefeated team so far.

Green 48 Black 20

Could this be the year for the Green team? Battling the Black team with their 2-0 record, the Green team made a strong statement. Winning by 28 points the Green team refused to let up by furthering the lead with 3 pointers and an up tempo offense that squeezed the life out of the Black team like how Eugene squeezed into his Black T shirt. Jon Mutumbo Kwok started blocking his own shot and went 0-3 but picking up the slack was the whole Green team as every member of the squad scored. Chris Wong had his best game making all his shots, grabbing 7 rebs, and added 3 assists. The Black teams demise can be explained by one missing link.  Eric Chan DNP

Blue 50 White 44
And now to the most important game of the night or Battle of the bottom feeders! With both teams boasting an 0-2 record only one team Ranked #1 but never showing any proof(see Pre Season Rankings under Recap) this game had a climatic ending.

Team White's Adam Moscoso and Darryl Greene were the biggest threat on their team and they continued to tear up the stat sheets as they rebounded and scored 50% of their teams production. But Blue had their way, as Alan ManChild had 15 points and 20 rebounds! His boy Wilson contributed 3 steals and caused some crucial TOs to set the tempo of the game. Sherman "S factor" Low blazed the net leading all scorers with 17.

Even Jeff Hua, injured captain of the White team hobbled out to the court which led me, ahem Grandmaster B to hobble out on the court to offset him. A three by Capt Jeff threw a dagger, compounded by a bad pass from yours truly made the game almost unbearable.  On Blue's next possession they fouled Blue's worst FT shooter.  Alan Lin. I told him we only needed one as he looked at me like I was short and sank both free throws. White failed to score and fouled S factor who sealed the victory with 2 more free throws. Nuff Said!!

Recap of Jesus: SERIOUSLY CHECK THIS!!)

Week 1 we have discussed the outrageous claims of Jesus.  I mean this guy says he is the Son of God, the only way to Heaven is through Him, He can forgive all your sins!!!!! So is this guy the Lord or lunatic?

Week 2 we talked about the closest sources to Jesus and that would be the 4 Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  What makes them so accurate?  Here are some findings: 3 Jews, one historian, 1 Non Jew, 3 are actually first hand accounts, and one who witnessed the disciples through his encounters with Paul.

Writings of Aristotle written 1400 yrs after death

Caesar 900 yrs after death

Jesus Christ 30 yrs by living eyewitnesses

Week 3 Are there other sources about Jesus OUTSIDE the Bible????

a.         Jesus is the person most written about in history

b.         Flavius Chas-see-phus, well known first century Jewish Historian wrote about Jesus being called Christ, and about his brother James.

c.         Cornelius Tasitus, Roman historian, confirms that Jesus was crucified under Pontius Pilate as a criminal.  Also tells that Christianity had its origin in ancient Judea.

d.         Antonius, Roman historian under the Emperor Tragid  wrote about the expulsion of Jewish people from Rome by emperor Cladius.  Also confirmed the existence of Christians before 62 A.D.

e.         Historian Plenti, wrote about Christians being devote followers of Christ, who committed a lifestyle free from sin.  Christians would not summit to worship neither Emperor nor Gods

f.          Modern Science confirms Gospel.  There were secular sources, which were often unsympathetic to Christianity.  Many sources were written concerning the miraculous event of the darkness that covered the sky during Christ’s death.  Three writers of the Gospel wrote about this, as

well as several secular historians, such as Assyrian Historian Thalus who lived during 52 A.D., the same time during which the Gospels were being written. His writings justifies the validity of the gospels.

Next week Jesus - Does He fulfill the prophecies stated in the New Testament???They say that Jesus fulfilled 66% of the prophecies in the New Testament which were written thousands of years before His birth. Can He be the One!!?!?!?

Refs

As usual the refs continue their streak of making every correct call. For those who are chuckling let me quote Reverend Scott in saying, "you all have made some mistakes in playing so I believe we are tied" or something like that. Its not easy refing and lets all agree not every foul needs to be called and not every foul may be a foul. This is B’s house and there is a lot of ice, Motrin, and swelling in it.
