2007 Spring RESULTS:

4. Black 3-4
5. White 1-6
6. Blue 2-5
It has been an exciting season and this will be my final recap. I don’t believe a bunch of men eating prime rib deserves any commentary but if there is popular demand let me know. Thank you for participating in this year’s league and I hope to see you at our church for our Easter musical, Easter Service, or Regular Worship. You can find our schedules at www.cebc.net

Game 1
White 48 Blue
43
Blue
was missing Vince Mostajo but at least he didn’t have
to witness this game. It was a game that
gave White a win and Blue the most upsetting loss of the season. Blue stayed
close with White the 1st half despite Darryl Greene’s explosion(27 points 16 rebs).
Sherman Low(17 points) single handedly took over at
the end to make the game reachable but White played a great game and Blue could
not match the battle in the end. All I
can say is, the Blue and White team will be a force to reckoned
with in the future.

Game 2
Red 57 Black
52

This game was scary from the start since the Red Team only
had 5 players suited up. It just meant
that Greg “Big Sexy” got a free pass to play the whole game which explained the
20 points, 18 rebs, and 4 assists. Thank goodness he
didn’t play during the time outs. So would Greg stop Black Team’s “little Sexy”
Anthony Pineda? Little Sexy stood his
ground and collected 20 points and 9 rebs. Red team’s
John “2 Sexy”Acosta provided a nice line of 10 points
and 13 rebs. Black Team’s “Phat
Sexy”

Game 3
Green 46 Gray
35

The
Lean Green Machine vs The Gray Haired Utility. This game was close from the tip off to the
buzzer. Gray had problems in the 1st half when Matt Hedge’s got into
some foul trouble. Matt has been the
hard hat player, hustling for steals and playing intense defense. He has been one of the keys to the Gray Team’s
success this year. Colman had one of his best games for the Gray representing
State Farm, but he acted like a “Bad Neighbor” by making 4 steals. Green Team
was like a machine as they shuffled their roster and their deep bench to keep
the intensity going which resulted in multiple contributions from their
teammates. Sherman Led all scorer’s for Gray, JC Just
caught 10 more boards and john Kwok….no blocks. Result??? The Green Team
finally collected their 1st Championship.
Congrats Green Team
